- Stay indoors as much as you can – Avoid going out during peak hours. For kids, do not send them to school and playgrounds during severe smog levels. For adults, do not exercise outdoors and, if possible, try to avail an opportunity to work from home.
- Keep yourself hydrated – Drink a lot of water and fluids and keep yourself hydrated. Water helps in detoxifying air pollutants and helps your body flush them out of your system.
